Matthew is a seasoned real estate development and project management professional with more than 20 years of experience.
He founded RECON around a straightforward belief: every project may need expert help at some point in the development process, and owners deserve advice grounded in how work is actually executed.
Matthew’s background spans residential development, complex occupied-building renovations, institutional work, high-end finish execution, building-envelope investigations and project closeout.
Prior to founding RECON, Matthew was a key member of the owner’s representation team at Sterling Project Development (SPD), where his responsibilities included oversight across more than $2 billion in project work. Across SPD, RECON and prior leadership roles, his experience encompasses more than $2.5 billion of work.
His value is clearest when conditions change. Matthew brings the owner an informed recommendation, explains the financial and operational consequences, and coordinates the people needed to carry that decision into the field.
